What's on in Ware
There’s plenty to do around the town this month including music, film screenings, markets, and more! Here’s our guide to what’s on. (Dates on the poster below.)
- Head over to Southern Maltings for a Pop-up Christmas Gift Market between 10-4pm. This bumper market will be run across two floors, with approximately 35 stallholders. Showcasing local high-quality art and crafts, ceramics, Christmas decorations, wreaths, toys, books, jewellery, handcrafted homeware and other small, local boutique businesses.
- Also at Southern Maltings, enjoy an evening of poetry organised by Ware Poets with Imtiaz Dharker, a poet, artist and video film maker. Her poems have featured widely on BBC radio, television, the London Underground, Glasgow billboards and Mumbai buses. Taking place between 8pm-10pm.
- Happening at Ware Drill Hall, enjoy a classical concert Brahms Tragic Overture, Tchaikovsky’s 6th symphony, ‘Drama, Melody & Fate’ presented by: Hertford Symphony Orchestra. Tickets at: Ware Drill Hall. Concert starts at 7:45pm.
- Take a stroll through Tudor Square for the last Local Produce & Craft Market of the year. Expect delicious locally made food and drink plus hand-made craft stalls to browse between 10-2pm.
- Enjoy a Christmas Fayre at St Mary’s Parish Church between 10am – 12:30pm. Expect refreshments, children’s activities, toys, raffle, table decorations, handmade cards and more. All proceeds to church funds.
- Join Ware Musical Theatre at Ware Drill Hall for their Winter Cabaret featuring popular songs from West End and Broadway musicals, along with some surprises. Tickets at Ware Musical Theatre
