What's on in Ware

There’s plenty to do around the town this month including fairs, festivals, markets, ghostly tours and more! Here’s our guide to what’s on. (Dates on the poster below.)

  • Get ready for the ultimate music experience at Wareout Festival at Ware Drill Hall. With live performances from local artists. Don’t miss out on the chance to dance the day away with friends, 3pm-Late. Tickets on Eventbrite.
  • Head to Southern Maltings for Ware’s the Fun Palace and enjoy a day of arts, crafts and science! Doors open at 10am and activities will finish at 4pm. All activities are free, some sessions, for adults/ young adults may require pre-booking. More information at Ware’s the Fun Palace.
  • Take a stroll through the Vintage and Retro Fair at Ware Drill Hall. With 50 dealers selling a range of items from vintage and retro fashion, jewellery, furniture, kitchenware, kitsch, art & collectables. Plus vintage café, singer and DJ. Happening between 10am – 4pm. Admission £2, children free. Dogs welcome.
  • Back after the summer break, the monthly market returns to Tudor Square between 10am and 2pm. Explore an array of delicious locally-made artisan food and drink, as well as beautiful handmade crafts from talented traders. Treat yourself to something tasty, pick up a unique craft item, and connect with local makers and producers. Discover fresh local produce, one-of-a-kind handmade items and more.
  • Don’t miss out on your FREE tickets to a cinematic tour of Ware, featuring 9 film screenings across 6 venues between the week of 27th October to 3rd November. Enjoy the magic of cinema right here on your door step! Get your free tickets on the TicketSource website. (Please note some films have sold out.)
  • Mark your calendars for our free school holiday activities taking place at Fletcher’s Lea, Ware Priory. Get creative with LEGO and test your gaming skills on the big screens, no need to book, just turn up between 12-4pm.
  • Ware’s famous ghost walks return this October on Ware High Street. Get ready for spooky tails and ghostly happenings at 6pm & 7:45pm. To book your spot contact: [email protected]
