'Ware Shares' community tool & equipment library - Maintenance Technician needed
Ware Town Council will soon be launching ‘Ware Shares’ a community service enabling people to borrow DIY, garden and leisure equipment rather than buying them. We are proud to be the first borrowing service outside of London, powered by the software and experienced setup of Library of Things. They have been loaning tools across London for the last 10 years.
- Save money – borrow a tool from Ware Shares for a small fee rather than buying it.
- Save space – why clog up your cupboards and sheds with tools that collect dust?
- Save waste – help fight climate change by reducing waste and emissions from the manufacture and disposal of tools you could borrow instead.
Tools will be available to book online and collect from the Ware Share lockers in Asda, Watton Road for use at home with clear and simple user guides. Simply then return to the lockers at the end of your hire period.
In order to provide tools that every borrower can trust will be clean and in good working order, we need maintenance technicians.
We are offering a paid role of 2 half days per week (Monday to Friday) and will provide training, a purpose-built workshop with specialist tools and the full support of the Library of Things expert Technician Support Team.
