Autumn Celebration in Ware - a heartfelt gathering of the community
An Autumn Celebration of Ware, hosted by the Mayor, took place in Fletcher’s Lea on Sunday, 13th October. The service was led by Celebrant Christopher Geake with contributions from Ware Poets, Herts Inclusive Theatre and ‘The Island’ band from Chauncy School. They were joined by Mayors and Chairs from our East Herts towns, Ware Town Councillors and representatives from our many wonderful local organisations. Following the service, afternoon tea was served in the Conservatory.
The Mayor, Cllr Martin Butcher reflected on the inclusivity and diversity of our rich community and was pleased and proud to reflect on how lucky we are to have Ware as our home.
