Allotment plot holders come together to celebrate their year of growing

Ware Town Council’s Annual Allotment Competition Winners 2024 have been announced, with prizes awarded across our two sites, Warehouse Field and Crosspath Field.  Judging took place by the Mayor of Ware, Councillor Martin Butcher, Deputy- Mayor Councillor Graeme Hill and Councillor Barney Bryant.  They were joined by a new Specialist Judge, Victoria Robertson, for the second round of judging.  We would like to congratulate all the winners and runners-up.

This year, Ware Town Council, with the support of the Ware Allotments & Garden Society, held an Autumn Celebration where the prizes were presented to the winners.  The Autumn Celebration was also an opportunity for all allotment plot holders to come together to celebrate their year of growing and to display some of their produce.
