Embrace the festive season with music, markets, fairs and more
There’s plenty of festive events happening around town this month. Here’s our guide to what’s on this December. (Dates on the poster below).
- Join in the free Ware Bear Family Trail across the town centre. Collect a trail map and hunt for the 12 Ware Bears hiding in shop windows, plus the 3 big, sparkly Ware Bears on the pavements to collect your prize at the end! - Ware celebrates Dickensian Evening this month, with festive stalls, fun fair rides, entertainment, and more! Happening between 6:30pm-9:30pm. Further info at: dickensian website,
- Join Ware Choral Society for their Christmas concert at Ware Drill Hall. Performing a selection of Christmas music featuring the atmospheric ‘on Christmas night’, by Chilcott and McDowell’s beautiful ‘ Christus Natus Est’. Tickets at: Ware Choral
- Experience a captivating theatre performance by the renowned Pantaloons Theatre Company at Southern Maltings. Don’t miss their fresh adaptation of Charles Dickens’ enchanting holiday classic, A Christmas Carol. With live music and interactive fun, it’s a show for everyone! Performances are at 2pm and 6pm. - Join Hertford Symphony Orchestra for their Family Christmas Concert at Ware Drill Hall. With a choir from local primary schools and Carter School of Dance. Tickets at: Hertford Symphony Orchestra
- Enjoy a Christmas Experience with the family at Southern Maltings, From meeting Santa in his workshop to decorating your very own Christmas decorations, the team will make sure that your little ones have a magical time every step of the way! Tickets at: Southern Maltings.
- Join Ware Brass for a sing-along concert in the beautiful Priory grounds on Sunday, December 22nd, between 3:30pm – 5:30pm. Wrap up in your coziest layers and bring along candles or torches to add to the magical atmosphere. Festive treats will be available to purchase. Free entry.
