Young artists enjoy free drawing workshops at Ware Priory
On 18th February, as part of our School Holiday Programme, Ware Town Council hosted two free drawing workshops in Priory Hall: ‘Drawing With Sausages’ and ‘Level up Your Character Design,’ led by award-winning local illustrator Luke Newell.
Both sessions, which sold out in advance, were a great success. Children aged 7 to 14 were guided through the process of creating and developing their own character designs, using professional techniques in a simple and engaging way. The workshops covered every aspect of character design, from gesture and shape to texture, colour, and choosing the perfect name.
