St George's Day Parade on Sunday, 27th April

Ware & District Scouts St George’s Day Parade will take place on Sunday, 27th April 2025.

The parade will be at 4pm through the High Street, finishing on the front lawn of Ware Priory shortly after 4pm. The High Street will be temporarily closed to vehicle traffic from 3:50pm until the end of the parade which is expected to be by 4:20pm. The road will re-open as soon as the parade has safely cleared the High Street and is assembled on the Priory Lawns.

St George is the Patron Saint of Scouting, and so Scouts and Guides celebrate and reflect on their respective promises on St George’s Day each year. Check out the activities taking place around Ware for young people aged 4 to 18 (Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers, Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Rangers) at their respective websites: Scouts and Girlguiding.
