On Monday 11th May 2020, we were elected a new Mayor – Cllr Alexander Curtis and a new Deputy Mayor – Cllr Ian Kemp.
Cllr Curtis and Cllr Kemp were very keen to keep in touch with the community during lockdown, so we came up with a plan to hold Zoom meetings every fortnight from Wednesday 10th June 2020.
These Zoom meetings are being held for the public to be able to ask the Mayor and Deputy Mayor questions about the town of Ware. We really value your opinions and your voices!
The attendees in the recording below are: Cllr Alex Curtis, Cllr Ian Kemp, Cllr Rishi Fernando (Leader of the Council), Leanne Wootton (Mayor’s Secretary). We were very grateful to have a resident of Ware join us, Mr David Prittle. Mr Prittle sent a question in asking ‘What do Ware Town Council plan to do to support the town moving forward once the restrictions are fully lifted?’ Please see the full recording below;
Please Note* This was a re recording, our first meeting had technical glitches. Another member of public had joined us , Mr MC Black. Mr MC Black had asked if we were going to be holding these meetings once lockdown is over. The Councillors in our meeting explained that we have around 27 meetings a year held at the Priory, where members of the public are able to attend and ask the full board of Councillors any questions regarding Ware.
If you would like to join our next meeting on Wednesday 24th June 2020 at 4:30pm and / or to ask any questions – please email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
