Charge your vehicle at Ware Priory
The car park at Ware Priory has 4 parking spaces (behind Ware Museum) for electric vehicle users.
The 7.3 kW Dual chargers are from Project EV and are intelligent EV chargers that benefit from smart power adjustments, an emergency stop and remote monitoring.
The chargers are easy to use and operate with the Fuuse application. Driver can simply take a picture of the QR code on the side of the charger to initiate the charge, to deliver up to 32amps on each socket. Fuuse driver support is available 24 hours a day.
Check Charger Status Online
- The chargers are advertised on Zapmaps with live updates of the status of the charger. This will highlight if the charger is available or reserved, allowing you to plan your journey efficiently.
- Search Zapmaps here.
- Please note that Zap Map is independent of Ware Town Council and may not be comprehensive, other services are available.
Charging Cost
- The cost (as at January 2025) is £0.45 per kwh.
- Please note that council-run charging bays can only be used for charging an electric vehicle, and anyone else who parks in these bays is liable to receive a parking charge notice.
