Nature Fun Day at Ware Priory – A Wild Adventure for the Whole Family
Join us for an exciting Nature Fun Day at The Priory. With plenty of hands-on activities, fascinating wildlife demonstrations, and lots of opportunities to make and take home your creations, this event has something for everyone. Taking place on Saturday, 1st March 2025, between 11:00am – 4:00pm in The Priory Conservatory.
Admission is FREE, including all activities. Some of the activities scheduled to take part in will include:
Garden Planters – Build a planter with insect-friendly plants with Ware in Bloom
Bird Boxes – Construct a cosy home for birds with Men’s Shed
Life in a Garden Pond – Dive into the wonders of pond life with Herts & Middlesex Wildlife Trust
Meet Amphibians – Get up close and personal with frogs and newts, courtesy of the Herts Amphibian & Reptile Group
Hedgehog Facts – Discover how fascinating hedgehogs really are
Make a Bug Hotel – Help our insect friends with this crafty activity
Make a Bird Feeder – Perfect for feathered friends in your garden
Mud and Worms activity – Embrace squishy fun with mud
Learn About Swifts – Discover the incredible speed and journey of swifts with Ware Swifts.
Wildlife Quizzes & Colouring – Win prizes with our interactive activities
