Local Grants
Ware Town Council is proud of its tradition of supporting local groups and organisations in the town through its Grant Fund. Each year we award grants to local organisations, clubs and societies.
The Council was able to continue its grants programme during the pandemic and c.£30,000 was given to local organisations during the 2021/22 Civic Year. This included Covid related grants to help support groups during this difficult time. During 2022/23 the town council allocated over £32,000. In 2023/24, extra budget was put towards community grants scheme with £53,450 awarded.
