Summer Picnic Concerts 2025
Our Summer Concerts includes something for everyone. All concerts will be held on the back lawn of Ware Priory. Bring a picnic blanket or chair, sit back and enjoy the music. The bar will be open. In the event of bad weather we will move indoors to the conservatory. All concerts are FREE to attend and unless specified otherwise take place between 3pm to 5pm. No need to book.
Steve Young - Sunday 1st June 3-5pm
Alt Country, Rock/Pop/Blues. Steve Young is a globe trotting session guitarist, teacher and entertainer turned Singer/Songwriter from the Isle of Wight.
Old Time Sailors - Saturday, 14th June 12-2pm
A 20 piece shanty party version excursion live music show, nothing like what you have seen before! Board the Sailorette and join the plentiful crew, 'The Old Time Sailors', for an afternoon of foot stomping, dancing and singing.
Lulu And The Hullabaloos - Sunday, 22nd June 3-5pm
Jazz, Swing, Ballards and lively Latin music.
Ware Brass - Sunday, 6th July 3-5pm
Traditional 25 piece brass band, making music in the county of Hertfordshire for over 150 years.
Twist of Rock - Sunday, 13th July 5:30-7pm
Party anthems with a Twist of Rock! 4-piece or 5-piece show band.
Barry Sapsford's Swing Orchestra - Sunday, 3rd August 3-5pm
Providing an authentic jazz based swing band experience. Playing music that spans from early 1920’s Jazz through the Swing era to modern Jazz.
Steel Pan in Motion - Sunday, 10th August 3-5pm
Discover the infectious rhythm of the Caribbean’s most iconic musical instrument through Steel Pan In Motion.
