Council Meetings
With the exception of Human Resources, the committees meet five times per year, with Full Council meeting 7 times per year. A schedule of meeting dates can be found here. Further information on the Council’s Committees and responsibilities is included within the Council’s Delegation Scheme and Standing Orders.
The meetings are normally held on a Monday evening at 7.30pm at The Priory, High Street, Ware SG12 9AL and are open to the public, see below information: ‘Want to attend a Town Council Meeting’. Copies of the agendas will be published on the Council noticeboards and linked on this page on the Wednesday preceding the meeting.

Want to attend a Town Council meeting?
The Council provides opportunity for members of the public to make speeches or ask questions at every meeting of the Council and its Committees. The rules for speakers are:
- The Chairman will invite you to stand or sit in a location where you can be clearly heard.
- Please give your name, your address and the item you wish to speak about.
- You may speak for a maximum of 2 minutes per agenda item.
- Objectors and supporters wishing to speak on the same issue will be limited to one person speaking for and one person speaking against per agenda item.
- You must not interrupt speakers or speak at any other time during the Council’s / Committee’s debate.
